Jeremy has the SCX stash, I'm the Ninco man...
This crate-full was a recent acquisition of the full Ninco off-road set. I already had quite a bit - enough to run stages for the two Extreme Slotting proxies that Graham organised in 2022 & 2023...
The surface of the Ninco is rough - but not too rough for standard rally cars. It can be taken up a notch by adding some obstacles that fit into the track. There are none of the special track pieces that SCX offered.
I now have lots of straights, both standard and inner curves, plus a whole stack of 'dune' pieces. For next summer's event at the Barn, I am planning to build some benchwork for as big a dune as is workable - the 'Dune of Doom' - and then use all of the remaining track (plus a bit of tarmac) to build a massively long layout à la FOLM.
