We will go ahead with the Pitlane Review

Many thanks to the guys from the Manx Slot Club for running the 1st Round of the proxy, and for Kevan's brilliant Technical review video. I will be posting the video's of the cars running on qualifying this week, but I need to get my hard drive on my Laptop upgraded first which is happening today.

Pitlane Review
Obviously running of the cars on the home track gave maximum advantage to the Manx Club guys, so I am sure they will be enjoying the moment, but no doubt will be biting their nails over the remaining 9 stages. Brunmos M1 again seemed to be experiencing technical running issues, but hopefully a better run from now on.

Sports Cars (Group5) Event 1 
1st Place - LeManx /BMW M1 ( 37.37 secs)
2nd Place - Bangers Racing /Ferrari 512BB (36.7sec)
3rd Place - Savage GT/ BMW M1 (36.21sec)

As we might expect the BMW M1 cars are most likely to a have a strong presence in the Event, and LeManx came out on top here but I expect many changes at the top as we progress through the Rounds. Great to see the Bangers Racing Ferrari getting into 2nd. And not surprised to see the RoadRunners De Tomaso struggling abit on here.

InterSeries Event 2
1st Place - LeManx/Porsche 917/K (36.99 sec)
2nd Place - BARacer / Porsche 907K (34.37 sec)
3rd Place - ALS Racing/ Ferrari 412P ( 33.07 sec)

Similarly LeManx cruised home for a win on the home turf in this Event. BARacer managed to outrun the Ferrari of ALS and the Ford GT40 of RoadRunners which as expected are very closely matched.

Global GT Event 3
1st Place - Modsport/ Ferrari 550 (36.80 sec)
2nd Place - Harrison's Racers / Toyota Supra  (34.43 sec)
3rd Place - Ruscillo Racing / Merc CLK LM (33.83 sec)

ModSport's Ferrari had a commanding run on the home track, it will be interesting to see what happens in this Event later on. A welcome surprise to see Harrison's Racers Toyota Supra in 2nd. And with BARacer taking a time penalty, it is Ruscillo Racing making it into 3rd Place for this Round.

British GT Event 4
1st Place - Green Star Racing/ Porsche 911 ( 38.18 sec)
2nd Place - Brumos RSR / Ferrari 458 ( 36.43 sec)
3rd Place - Courtney Sport / AMG (35.14 sec)

A straightforward win for Green Star Racing with this superb Porsche, I am sure this will be very difficult to beat. Similarly The Ferrari 458 of Brumos is looking very strong in 2nd place.

Class A
1st Place -ModSport / AM DB9 (34.95 sec)
2nd Place - Ruscillo Racing /Merc CLD LM (33.83 sec)
3rd Place - BatManx / Porsche 911 (32.55sec)

A good start for ModSport's AM DB9

Class B 
1st Place - ModSports /Ferrari 550 ( 36.80 sec)
2nd Place - Courtney Sport / AMG (35.14 sec)
3rd Place - Harrison's Racers / Toyota Supra ( 34.43 sec)

And another good start for ModSports Ferrari 550

Class C
1st Place -Green Star Racing /Porsche 911 ( 38.18 sec)
2nd Place - Le Manx / BMW M1 ( 37.37 sec)
3rd Place - Le Manx / Porsche 917/K ( 36.99 sec)

Green Star Racing providing an alternative lead car in this class.
