I wanted to see how it would run in near stock trim. So just tires were changed for visual affect as the OEM fronts were small and the rears not tall enough to meet the ride height requirement.
How did it handle in the turns. My bi annual testing had the car tippy so I added probably too much weight when I returned home.
Yes I think on these plastic tracks if the tyres are too grippy, the car struggled on the corners, the back of the car snatches the front out of the slot.And my track is VERY twisty so ideally you need a degree of rear wheel slip on the track to maintain good stability. However on the smooth wood tracks the car should run really well. The standard model chassis also had absolutely no give in it, to be honest I was expecting the entry to be a Chrono chassis type. So I have downgraded the model to a B class as it is basically a fixed chassis with a 21k motor.
