I have now done a few of these conversions for a some of the local racers, and a couple of converted rolling chassis are on the way to a few UK racers,.......the conversion is well worth the effort, particularly for those running on wood tracks.
This one has been done using the stock MRSlotcar pod movement control bits,.........using silicone washers above/below the pod "arms" helps things even more.

Here is a MRSlotcar Ferrari 333 chassis, using the silicone washers on the pod arms.......this one has been built using a "Poly Neo" ff-050 motor (only the Flat 6 or the FF-050 will fit under the Ferrari), and for mid sized wood club tracks this configuration is very much worth considering.....this one is geared 7 x 29.
