If you're concerned about the light weight there could be a minimum weight limit for the bodyshell.
To be honest I could not see any models in the Event 1 list which needed to be 3d printed as most are available as in one way or another as moulded plastic or resin, but I have really no objection either, but I will use the same rule as for Area TA71 models which is that they have to be run with a 3d printed chassis. That would be a safeguard in case of “ultra lightweight bodies” and they would have to be dimensionally correct compared to Resin or RTR models.

Its been a while since I posted my ideas on the Touring cars Proxy, I have been recently revisiting it again (because it is my nature) the earlier Plans and decided on some changes.
The first one is that I think the Event 1 for small touring cars was too broad, so I am narrowing the car list to the more conventional list for under 2.5 Litre cars, but additionally in an attempt to make it "more of a challenge" I am limiting the rear wheel track to 52mm (which is actually the track of the current Slot it Datsun). I feel this restriction might encourage more variety of Narrow track cars like the Minis, Imps & Cortinas to make an appearance ?? The Slot it Datsun will be handicapped by using only std parts as will the Revoslots, the latter could form a sub group if their are sufficient brand entries...we would have to see. 2 car entries are allowed in this Event if one is a Revoslot.
The 2nd change to make it "more of a Challenge" is I have drawn in many more Cars into the "Super & Modern" Event 2, to give the "Modified Standard" builders a wider scope to choose from. Basically this can be for any Scalextric, Carrera, Ninco or SCX type body cars which can be modified.
The 3rd Event for the "Heavyweights" remains more or less intact with some additional cars moved from Event 1.
I have include the use of 3d printed bodies for Event 1 & 3, but they must use 3d printed chassis (same as for areaTA71 limitations)
The motor list is unchanged.

Are Revoslots allowed to use BRM parts? specifically pinions & gears which weren't listed as allowed in the recent proxy but were used by some cars?
I'm not opposed to this at all but it really needs to be clear this time.
Maybe list it as Revoslot/BRM spares.

For this proxy I am specifying “Brand” as meaning the name under which the cars and spares are sold under. So in the case of Revoslot cars any alternative parts must be from the Revoslot range and not any similar parts made by the associated BRM company.

Revoslot/BRM 33tooth spur gear. This part is literally included on the optional parts sheet for ALL GT1 and GT2 cars. I have one I will gladly send to someone who PMs me for free ( not you Kevan) I also believe it will not fit a 1/24 BRM car and was made exclusively for the Revo GT cars.
If it helps, we can include the card for items used on the cars going forward
As far as the nylon BRM goes, 2 of 3 cars that ran the pinion struggled if you look at the numbers. I got lucky on the Viper.

Thinking about this, I can perceive other issues being raised like can Revoslot bodies be used with alternative metal chassis or alternatively can Revoslot chassis be used with other non Revoslot bodies as scratch-builds ??
So I will remove the “ Control” cars concept from the rules, and Revoslot or Slot it cars will be free to use any alternative parts as with other scratchbuilds.
