Basically I don't like the idea of an exclusive Slot it car Event, so I have replaced it with a Control Class for Under 2.5litre Touring cars, and made the scatchbuild class as an Over 2.5litre Class, so the Slot it cars (with some restrictions still applied) will be split into the Under and Over 2.5 Litre Events. The DTM cars in the later and the non DTM cars in the former.
The car list included for under 2.5L Event
I have now added a car list for the under 2.5L Event, which is now Event 2
I have restricted the motor list to 21k rpm motors for this class as it's very diverse in nature and it will be only for in line configurations for the motors listed.
I have moved some cars which was in the Modifed Event into this class which makes the Modified Class more uniform, and the "Slot it" models have been distributed between the DTM Sihoutte cars which are now in the Over 2.5 litre Event 4 and the non DTM cars in the new Under 2.5 Litre Event 2
I am hoping to be ready to launch the Proxy with the Final version of the rules in September

Further changes to the plan has been made, I have now included the Revoslots GP2 cars effectively as a sub group of the Under 2.5 Litre cars as Event 1.
My reasoning is that there could be too few cars to make it an exclusive Event on its own, so like the Slot it's will form a Control group within the Event if there are sufficient Revoslot entries.

Hopefully the last change proposed, although please note this still remains in PLAN status until the September launch.
Basically since the Revoslot cars have been inserted into Event 1 (Under 2.5 L cars) it makes sense to allow other metal type chassis cars run in this event also.
The Event 3 for over 3 litre cars will now only permit plastic based chassis.

Event 1 should be a brilliant mix of everything really and I'm definitely interested in that one...
...and the opposite of that would be the big ones so I'm in for that event 3 too

Event 4 allows B&W chassis, similar to Event 1?

I think that's a typo, there isn't an event 4, you must mean event 3 which says 'Can use any moulded plastic, resin or fibreglass body and Chassis can be RTR, plastic or 3d printed'
...no mention of B&W other than event 1

sorry I missed that. There is no Event 4 now, I haved corrected it.
So metal chassis of any type (including Revoslots) are only permitted in Event 1

Glad you’re still in the development stage, so there’s still a chance.

It is still open for discussion, but there are very few “scratchbuild chassis” builders who participate in my proxies, so I prefer to have them competing against each other in the same Event. Fortunately Revoslots have appeared, so we have the prospect of commercial RTR cars with metal chassis to run against them also.
I am not into building my own chassis, but I do have a couple of steel ones myself, and I have been experimenting with using the Revoslot motor in one, as an in line alternative.
I must admit it runs very well, so might be running my favourite Jaguar MK11 in Event 1.
I feel that with Event 3, there are plenty of 3d chassis available for conversion of many of the cars, so not sure why we need to have scratchbuild metal ones included.

Would you be willing to allow 3D bodyshells in Event 1, a lot of older cars are easier to find for 3D printing than by other means.
If you're concerned about the light weight there could be a minimum weight limit for the bodyshell.
