I believe the host said it stopped running due to an electrical malfunction. He opened it up after the proxy and found that perhaps a wire was loose in the eyelet. So he reset it again. I have asked Paul at Mountain View to get it a run around before the next proxy round starts to see if it is running ok.

OK, thanks. Maybe I forgot to glue the eyelet in place.
I love puttering with gears

"This event unfortunately found some gremlins for BA Racers Capri, it developed some connectivity issues early on, but we couldn't see any obvious problems, when it got to the stage of not even making a lap without stopping we decided to retire it.
I have since opened her up, and could still see nothing obvious. I did take out the guide ferules, pushed the wires fully home and reinstalled, this looks to have cured the issue even though nothing looked amiss there !
I noticed they were fixed in with a drop of glue so I put a drop of classic uhu on with a cocktail stick. I set the body screws as I think they were."

There a few races left yet !
No chickens have been counted
Your Porsche is an excellent drive, and I honestly thought it had taken the top spot at the last 2 rounds. From a spectator POV it looked a lot less of a handful than the Mustang.

The car class points are scored exactly the same way as for the Events......
1st 20pts, 2nd 15ts, 3rd 11pts, 4th 8pts, 5th 6pts, 6th 5pts, 7th 4pts, 8th 3pts, 9th 2pts, 10th (and thereafter 1pt)
Then teams points are a result of the total Event points + Class Points.
The fastest laps are there mostly for interest or if there is a tie at any Round for position, but could also be the deciding factor when it comes to the end of the series should there be a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Events etc.

I think I have a mental block over the methodology of scoring system, not that it matters with my entries this time!

Basically it is very simple, the better the car is, the more points it scores
