Touring Cars Slotting Proxy

TBH the delivery isn't top secret, I was just panicking it wouldn't arrive in time for me to put it together and test.
I wasn't happy with the chassis, so I ordered a replacement.
All my own doing as I had the car sat with a pile of parts since around Feb, but I was busy working on my model railway so hadn't been near a slot car for some time.
Then I realised I was running out of Time   Rofl

Did a similar thing, was confidently sat on my Alfa 156 build for months, put it together last minute only to discovery the Slotting Plus chassis was FUBAR'd. There was no getting it to work, so had to build a completely different car from whatever spares I had in my box, which had to be sent last minute with zero testing!

Hi Graham, I suspect Team name was auto filled by the form/my browser to my surname,  feel free to change Blake to Team Tatters if possible at this stage. Thanks

Pity my Alfa was downgraded to a Class B, it would have scored more points in the Manx event, if it had still been a Class C!  Bigsmile Quite surprising, really!

To fit into the Event 4 ( only Class A & B cars are allowed ) and the Alfa 156 is really a Modern car Event car. We both agreed that the Procar Body construction of this model was not actually lightweight, so that’s how it became changed from a C to a B class.

What happens afterwards is always going to be in the lap of the gods

Ah! I thought the change to Class B was purely because the body wasn't a lightweight and, as such, unfairly Classed, in "C".

Didn't realise, that as a Class C, it wasn't Event 4 eligible.

I knew moving it into Event 4 would help with the balance of cars across the Events.

At least, in Event 4, it made the podium!!
