Congratulations to all the winners of their events and builders who reached the podium. Hotlap, thank you for running the round as I know it takes a ton of time. I’m extremely excited for the results you managed to get out of the #3 Porsche 914 and especially my BMW as I never saw that coming. On event 3 I tallied 42.49 and 41.19 or 83.68 for the #3 Porsche please take a look.
Good Morning,
just a reminder that after this half way Round, there are no Rounds taking place over Easter Week, the next Round will take place on the 17th April at the Abergavenny Rally Slot Car Club.
However there maybe some changes on the forum regarding reporting of my results which will become apparent once we (myself and Jason) have checked that the google based spreadsheet system is synchronised with the "workings" of my old office based spreadsheet.
I have been very impressed so far in how this is working, and how much time it could save me in the results presentation. But the recording of the actual Round results will continue to be manually recorded and displayed by hosts on the designated forms as we have done so far.
Google sheets is a no brainer, you can share easily, collaborate and even access from different devices anywhere with Internet access.
I've done our club results with Google sheets for a few years now and use it for allsorts of slot car related stuff. I use it for handicaps, club signon sheets, race calendars, I made one to find out the ground clearance when using different diameter tyres and different offset slotit pods, I even use it for all my 3D printed data including full size car dimensions to 1/32 and 1/24 scale.
