I've got a standard ninco Sierra rs500 that I was thinking of running. It has a nc-9 sparker motor fitted. It's rated at 20,800 rpm @ 14.8v. Will this be Class A or B? Cheers

Hi Mike,
the NC-9 motor is 16K at 12volts and has similar Torque rating to a Scalextric motor, so it can be run as a Class A.
I went down to the club this afternoon as it was closed on Thurs due to the snow.
The Audi RS5 DTM goes quite nicely.
I got a pack of Thunderslot tyres to try, I've never used TS tyres before but they perform somewhere between NSR Supergrips and Ultragrips and don't seem to ball up.
I even tried it on the twisty Rally stage...how on earth that big thing got round the hairpins...but it flew round...I like these tyres (Thunderslot Classic Rear Tyres 10.8x19mm Ref : TYC002R) and think they'd be superb for future Rally builds.

Just need inserts for the wheels and it's ready.
I'm planning on something 'different' for Event 1
Best slice/sand some off then, as 10mm is maximum, and be careful truing, so as not to go under 19mm ;)
