OK guys,

to be fair to those who are currently entered into the Rally Car Slotting Proxy, those entrants will get first opportunity to enter this one. We have to remember that this is the 2nd pt of a 3 Proxy series. So it is only fair that those who committed to the Rally proxy gets a place in this one , it they choose to enter.

So I am happy to take on names of potential new entrants to fill any gaps left by those who decline to enter this one, but it will be on a Reserve list basis.

So far we have;
Potential Entrants List
Makem (2)
Savage GT (2)
Brumos RSR (2)
BARacer (2)
ClassichrisK (2)
AdeC (2)
Kevan (2)
Mike174 (2)
OXO cube (2)
PaulCooper (2)
Andy W (1)
ALS (1)
mookasaurus (1)
Ruscillo Racing (2)
Ash B (2)

you have won my heart over with this one, so I have added it to the list. In general I ask people to refrain from asking me to update the lists unless they are committed to enter a particular model which they believe to be eligible. But in this case I can see it might be a popular choice with the intro of the Carrera model, so it's in.

Personally I am kinda hoping to see some Fords appearing in the Event 1, loads to choose from, the appearance of a Anglia, Zephyr, Zodiac, Cortina or Gallexie would be most welcome  Sun
I am thinking to go this route myself.

My first thought on Event 2 was to use my escort:

But it won't fit within the U2.0L 8mm wide tyre rule (it's been built with the little 13" PCS wheels that are 10mm wide). Shame as it just sits and works so well on these so I don't really want to change them.

I think 10mm rear tyres for these small cars is well over scale, Pendle do supply 13” narrower wheels.
I checked existing regulations for both U2 litres for Touring and Trans Am cars and both state 8mm for these car types.

(1971 AMG Mercedes 300 SEL) May not be my final choice as I've only just built it up and I'm a little precious about sending it away, but would be good to have the option...

Hi AdeC,
you have won my heart over with this one, so I have added it to the list.

Did it race in the British Saloon Car Championship 1970-1982

I don't think it did, but it has been invited into the competition  Sun
I have already invited a few cars into the Modern Event on the same basis.
