Great to see the entries from North America, as well as all the newly decorated UK cars. Welcome!
Car preparations are complete, so time to sit back in the virtual bleachers and enjoy the racing over the next couple of days.
As always, many thanks to Andy for organising and hosting the event.

Fantastic and varied entry list. May the best man, woman, or cat win.

The track cars have successfully tested the track power and the sensors - and we're ready for qualifying this afternoon and evening...
There is one change from yesterday - Iain's Ford has replaced my Henry-J in the match-racing. Iain will face Alan. Andy Phillip's new Mini did not arrive this morning. If it arrives before the race tomorrow, it'll be slotted into the last qualifying place.
Today's schedule will look something like this...
- 4.00-6.30pm: Qualifying for Super Stock 6.0, NHRA 4-Gear & NHRA Top Fuel.
- 7.30pm: Match-racing Round 1
- 8-9pm: Micro Scalextric Street Stock Qualifying

This is very exciting!
Thanks a million to Andy and all the sponsors!
I'll be happy if my jalopies finish the race.

That's how we all started Ken. But it soon gets addictive!
I love puttering with gears

Micro Scalextric Super Stock 6.0 Qualifying
We got off to a very quick start on the strip this afternoon...
Not much social distancing going on in the crowd - but they are two-dimensional print-outs, so not much chance of passing on the virus...
Alan's new Mercedes DTM looked sensational on the start line and was pretty handy under power...
Top five under half a second and Andy's Mini still on the A27 somewhere...
Congratulations to Al's Garage for our first Top Qualifier spot of the season!
The Merc was also quickest through the speed trap at 12.675 mph

NHRA Top Fuel Qualifying
The Auto World Top Fuelers use up every last millimetre of the staging area...
Four dragsters meant qualifying was done and dusted pretty quickly...
Rebecca was quickest through the speed trap at 8.446 mph, but Clive was top qualifier with a 0.719...
Congratulations to the Matco Tools crew

NHRA 4-Gear Funny Car, Pro Stock & Pro Mod Qualifying
Seven cars - four Funny Cars, two Pro Stockers and one Pro Mod - were battling for that all-important 4-Gear top qualifier spot...
It was incredibly tight from second to seventh, but Iain's KC Spurlock tribute Funny Car blew them all away...
Congrats to the Fruit of the Loom crew
Iain was also quickest through the speed trap - officially clocked at 7.955 mph.
