Do you mind me asking what wheels you are running on the modified Bentley? I’m sending a semi modified one and am trying to find wheels as the standard rears won’t fit with the JS anglewinder chassis it’s running.

They are the slot.it 17.3 x 9.75mm ones.

I might not be in AW configuration...

On a couple of other proxy AW cars, I have had to grind a couple of mm off the end of the motor shaft beyond the pinion to get hubs to fit without tyre rub.

I given abit of thought to the Award side of the race, and in wanted to recognize the historic entrant participation in this event in addition to the Scalextric and overall fastest Slot car Awards aspect to it. So I hope the award provision I made in this class does this, although so far we have fewer cars participating in Class C than the others. 

Entrants to date have only declared 38 out of the 58 cars expected , so perhaps the spread of entries in the C classes in particular may change before the April 12th.
 The expected  spread so far is class A 20 cars, class B 22 cars, class C (50's) 2, class C (60's) 8 and class C (70's) 6

Additionally I added the Event Trophy which will be based on points awarded "F1 style" during each Stage of the event to determine the best overall "Team" which is the entrant who scores the most points with their A, B & C class entries. The points distribution will be announced prior to the start of the race. Each entrant can nominate a Team Name to be known by (eg Graham Edwards A,B,C cars will be know as Team "Roadrunners")

Finally there will be a "George Turner " Prize for the best presented model from all 3 classes. This will be decided by the 7 eminent experts involved in organising and running this event. The details of this and the race winners prizes will be announced during the race.

The Fiat 128 is a resin body by Evo Lution.

My class C 1970's car "Greenie" is ready to go.
SRC chrono capri (stock body , interior, wheels, chassis and motor mount) 
Scaleauto Baby sprinter motor 
Sprung guide , blackarrow springs, slot.it inline transmission.
Inverted "032" offset rear axle brass bearings to lift 'er tail up a bit.
No chance to track test so this is another build likely to go wrong on the road.

Awaiting the Megane to make the return journey from the winter rally for a refit and clean up to ready her for the road.

 Some really great looking cars, the Bentley's are hedging their bets on running in 2 classes and Nonfractal's Capri looks a real mean machine, bet he's going to be doing alot of speed limit exceeding, and BARacer's Fiat 128 already won my heart 

Well, last day for any new Entries (racing teams) to apply to join the race, and and it is a warm welcome to Paul M who is joining  us, and expecting maybe one or two more before the days out.
