Three new-for-2021 1:43 scale SCX Compact sets have just arrived in the UK - two GT-themed and one Rally Cross. Two of the sets also feature wireless hand controllers. The box art I've used is with the Spanish Scalextric branding - UK releases will have SCX Compact on the packaging.

Featuring two Audi S1 WRX cars, 6.7 metres of track - including a pair of loops - plus two wireless controllers and a UK power supply, this should be a lot of fun!

SCX Compact C10305 Sport GT Starter Set. RRP £69.95. Available now

Two very nice GT3 cars, 4.4 metres of track - including wider radius curve pieces - plus the wireless controllers and UK power supply. There range of Compact GT3 cars is good (and due to grow in 2021), so this is definitely one for GT fans of all ages.

The listings in the UK and Spain agree on a 3.66 metre track length, but not on whether the controllers are wired or wireless. In Spain, this set will have standard wired controllers. If you're interested in a cheap wireless upgrade, I'd recommend contacting Gaugemaster and ask them to check inside the box. The two Porsche 911s are an old - but timeless - mould and both feature real racing liveries...

       

It's worth mentioning that all the cars  in these three sets will be available separately - the UK RRP is £15.50 for each.
