Issue 18 of our weekly catch up on what’s new in the world of slots!

This week we feature a Sebring Sprite, two Lancias, a Mustang, a DB5, three Ferraris, an Audi, a Hesketh, and a March, plus rally results, upcoming events, audio and video.

Slot Cars

• SRC Lancia Delta S4 SRC have unveiled a limited edition twin pack, featuring the two Lancia Deltas which finished first and second in the 1985 RAC Rally, driven by Henry Toivonen and Markku Alén. The individual cars are also available separately.

• Scalextric Ford Mustang The convertible Ford Mustang driven Tilly Masterson in Goldfinger, is now available to pre-order. In the film the car has its tyres slashed by Bond whilst chasing Goldfinger’s Rolls Royce through the Furka Pass.

• Scalextric Aston Martin DB5 Also from Goldfinger, and also available to pre-order, is James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5. The model comes complete with the full set of gadgets, including working ejector seat!

• Revoslot Ferrari 333 SP Revoslot have announced three new liveries for the Ferrari 333 SP. All three available to pre-order.

• Scaleauto Audi R8 Tibbs has done an amazing job on building up a Scaleauto Audi R8 GT3 white kit. The detailing is incredible, and the paint job is outstanding. Check out the full build thread, it’s well worth a look.

• Fly Hesketh 308 Rafa Fly has posted photos of the forthcoming Hesketh 308, driven by James Hunt to second place in the USA GP of 1974 at Watkins Glen.

• Fly March 761 Also expected soon from Fly is the March 761 driven by the “Monza Gorrilla”, Vittorio Brambilla at the 1976 German Grand Prix, finishing 13th.

• Racing Replicas Sebring Sprite Racing Replicas have announced the release of a new kit. The Austin Healey Sebring Sprite is a based on Pete Shepherd’s own full sized car, which is a replica of the original John Sprinzel cars. The kits should be available for the UK Slot Car Festival.

• Rally Cars Slotting Proxy The results from Round 8 of the rally proxy are coming in from Goldrock, with the tarmac stage completed, and the rally stage expected shortly. Just two more rounds are left in the series.
