Let’s get the year started with this week’s news round up, including new Ferraris and BMWs, two generic F1 ranges, an MGA, two wonderfully weathered last lap cars, plus all the latest events, a new TV series, and our 2023 calendar.
Slot Cars
- SRC BMW 2.8CS SRC have posted the first official photo of their forthcoming BMW 2.8CS, and have also revealed the first livery design.
- Revoslot Ferrari F40 Revoslot have revealed designs for three new liveries of their Ferrari F40. The cars are expected in the first quarter of 2023.
- NSR Formula 22 NSR have posted plenty more photos of their forthcoming Formula 22 cars, which are a generic model of the 2022 Formula One cars.
- Policar 2022 F1 Policar have also announced that they have a generic 2022 F1 model in development. The car will come with a new motor mount.
- Racing Replicas MGA Pete Shepherd was commissioned to build this lovely MGA as a Christmas present. It’s a Racing Replicas body with a modified hood and screen from an SCX car.
- Porsche 917K Nürburgring 1971 Reeves has posted photos of his excellently weathered Porsche 917K. The model represents the car driven by Reinhold Jöst and Willy Kauhsen to sixth place in the 1971 Nürburgring 1000 Kilometres.
- Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona Another great weathering job by Reeves is this Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona which was originally driven by Tony DeLorenzo and Charles Reynolds at the Watkins Glen 6 Hours of 1972.
- Rally Accessories Avant Slot have announced a range of rally service accessories. Expected in the middle of the year, the accessories are intended to complement the Avant Slot rally service vans.

- Hornby: A Model World The second series of Hornby: A Model World will be available on Yesterday, Monday 9th January at 8pm. For those who missed it, the first series is available on demand on UKTV play.
