Scalextric Mirage GR8 With a new tooling for the company, Scalextric have now released a slot car which was held over from the 2023 catalogue, the Mirage GR8. The Gulf livery recreates Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell’s car which was victorious in the 1975 Le Mans 24 hours. It was the first of an incredible five wins at Lemans for Derek Bell, and for Ickx it was the third of his amazing six wins.

Scalextric Lamborghini Countach Another new release from Scalextric this week is the newly liveried Lamborghini Countach. In this iteration the classic 1980s supercar is clothed in Pino Verde green with gold wheels.

Scaleauto Porsche 936 Scaleauto have announced the release of their new Porsche 936, with the first liveries recreating the two Penske cars which competed at the 2023 Daytona 24 hours. The #7 car was driven by Matt Campbell, Michael Christensen, and Felipe Nasr, finishing 14th, and the #6 car was driven by Dane Cameron, Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy, retiring with gear box problems on lap 700. Electric Dreams now have the Porsche 936 in stock.

NSR Porsche 917/10K NSR have released a new livery for the Porsche 917/10K, which represents the car driven to third place in the 1973 Interserie Championship by Georg Loos, in what was a clean sweep of the top four places by the 917.

Hobbyclassic Peugeot 208 T16 R5 Hobbyclassic have released a new livery for the Peugeot 208 T16 R5 which models the car with which Sebastian Loeb and his wife Séverine won the 2017 Rallye du Chablais. Manufactured by Scaleauto exclusively for Hobbyclassic in numbered and limited edition of 400 units.

Ostorero Tyrrell 011 Ostorero Scale Models have released two new Tyrrell 011 slot cars. 1982 was the car’s only full season of F1 racing and the Osterero models recreate two cars from that year, the Michele Alboreto car from Brands Hatch, and the Detroit Grand Prix car of Brian Henton. As usual, you can expect a beautifully detailed, well made model and a comparatively large price tag.
