Featuring an AMC, a BRM, a BMW, a 963, a 911, a T280, and a 191. As if that wasn’t enough we have some dates from the diary, plenty of video, and our photo of the week.
Available Now
- Scalextric AMC Hornet Scalextric have also released the James Bond AMC Hornet model, made famous by the remarkable and unfeasible corkscrew jump in ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, which will no doubt be remembered by every young lad of the time. Who will be the first to recreate it?
Coming Soon
- Fly Porsche 911 There were three official Porsche entries in the 1971 Safari Rally, and having released the Waldegård and Zasada piloted cars, Fly now complete the set with the car driven by Åke Andersson & Hans Thorszelius.
- Fly BMW M1 Also coming soon from Fly is a new livery of the BMW M1, which models the car driven by Manfred Winklehock at Monaco in the BMW M1 Procar Championship of 1980.
- NSR Lola T280/290 NSR have released photos of their forthcoming models of the Lola T280/290, which is expected in January or February of 2025. The cars will be available in four colours; orange, blue, white and pink, and are labelled as test cars. Available to Pre-order.
- Scaleauto Porsche 963 Scaleauto have announced colourful new liveries for the Porsche 963. Porsche Penske Mototrsport entered three 963s in the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours and Scaleauto are producing recreations of all three cars.
- Scaleauto Jordan 191 Scaleauto have also announced three new Jordan 191 models. These represent the cars driven by Andrea De Cesaris, Betrand Gachot, and of course Michael Schumacher. British Racing Motors
- BRM, the Inside Story Scalextric’s release of Graham Hill’s BRM P57 gives us the perfect opportunity to shamelessly plug our comprehensive story of British Racing Motors. It’s based on the photos of team mechanic Dennis ‘Sheriff’ Perkins, but also has a wealth of other material, from track plans and race reports, to the stories of the drivers and the cars.
