Slot Cars

• George Turner Darracq George Turner’s next kit is nearly finished. It is another in the Edwardian Racers series, a 1905 200hp Darracq, and production is expected to start in a couple of weeks.

• Avant Slot Mercedes Blue Wonder Avant Slot have posted prototype photos of their forthcoming Mercedes Benz race car transporter, nicknamed the Blue Wonder. Expected towards the end of the year, the transporter will come with a Mercedes W196 Grand Prix car on the back. Both the truck and the car will be working slot cars.

• Avant Slot BMW 635 Avant Slot have also unveiled prototype photos of three new liveries for the BMW 635 CSI. The new models represent cars driven in the 1984 Rally Valeo, the 1983 Spa 24hrs, and the 1984 24hrs of Nürburgring.

• Policar BRM P160 The Policar BRM P160 is expected at the end of June. The model represents the car with which Jean-Pierre Beltoise won the Monaco GP in 1972, the last ever Grand Prix victory for British Racing Motors.

• Fly Hesketh 308 Fly have released photos of the forthcoming Hesketh 308, which models Torsten Palm’s 1975 Monaco GP car.

• Fly March 761 Also from Fly, are photos of the next March 761 model, which has a new airbox to recreate the car driven to sixth place in the 1976 Monaco GP by Hans Joachim Stuck.

• Scaleauto NSX GT3 After the Honda NSX GT3 white kit, Scaleauto have now released the first two liveries, both of which model cars from the 2019 24 Hours of Daytona.

• Slot.it Porsche 956 Slot.it have released photos of the new livery for their Porsche 956, which models the car driven at the Nürburgring 1000 km of 1984. The car finished eighth, and was driven by Henri Pescarolo, Stefan Johansson, and unusually by Ayrton Senna, in a rare outing in endurance racing. Available to pre-order.
