KFile Menu Commands
The File menu provides commands to put Lap Timer 2000 into its various timing and counting modes. A short description of each item follows:
KRace
Open the Lap Timer 2000 Race SettingsRace Event window. Use this command to create a new Lap Timer 2000 race event. The Ctrl+R shortcut can be used for this command.
Note: To actually start the race you have just defined you must invoke the Race | Start menuRace Menu command after first using the Race command. The Race command described here defines a new race, but does not start that race until the Start commandStarting Grid or Ctrl+S is later issued.
KQualify
Open the Lap Timer 2000 QualifyingScheduling Qualifying window. Use this command to specify racers that will be qualifying in the current session.
Note: To actually start the qualifying session you have just defined you must invoke the Race | Time Trials menuRace Menu command after first using the Qualify command. The Qualify command described here defines a new qualifying session, but does not start that session until the Time Trials commandTime Trials or Ctrl+T is later issued.
KPractice
Places Lap Timer 2000 in the Practice ModePractice Mode. Use this command to simply display lap times and counts for each of the lanes on your raceway. When Lap Timer 2000 is first started the Practice mode is enabled by default.
KImport
Open the Lap Timer 2000 ImportImporting Definitions command window. The Alt+I shortcut can be used for this command.
KExport
Open the Lap Timer 2000 ExportExporting Definitions command window. The Alt+X shortcut can be used for this command.
KOptions
Opens the Lap Timer OptionsConfiguring Lap Timer property sheet and allows you to change Lap Timer program settings. Use this command to configure the Lap Timer program.
KExit
Closes the Lap Timer 2000 program and returns control to the Explorer desktop. The Ctrl+Q shortcut can be used for this command.
Tip Commonly used File commands can be invoked using shortcut keysShortcut Keys or buttons on the toolbar ribbonToolbar Buttons.
