KEdit Menu Commands

The Edit menu provides commands used to modify various Lap Timer 2000 hardware configurations and competition definitions. A short description of each item follows:


KSettings

Open the Lap Timer SettingsLap Timer Settings property sheet page. Use this command to specify the various Lap Timer 2000 settings associated with timer interrupts and sensors. The Alt+S shortcut can be used for this command.


KPorts

Open the Lap Timer PortsLap Timer Ports property sheet page. Use this command to specify the interface port to be used for lap counter sensors. The Alt+P shortcut can be used for this command.


KTrack

Open the Track SettingsTrack Settings property sheet page. Use this command to configure Lap Timer to your particular race track. The Alt+T shortcut can be used for this command.


KCustom Fonts

Use this popup menu to select font styles and sizes to be used for Lap Timer 2000 display screens.


Large Timing Font  For Lap Times

Medium Lap Font  For Large Lap Times

Small Text Font  For Lap Counts, Drivers and Best Laps


Note The font settings menu commands will be disabled (grayed) unless the Custom FontsLap Timer Settings setting is checked.


KDrivers

Open the Driver DefinitionsDriver Definitions property sheet page. Use this command to add new drivers to the Lap Timer 2000 database, or to edit existing driver information. The Alt+D shortcut can be used for this command.


KCars

Open the Car DefinitionsCar Definitions property sheet page. Use this command to add new cars to the Lap Timer 2000 database, or to edit existing car information. The Alt+C shortcut can be used for this command.


KClasses

Open the Class DefinitionsClass Definitions property sheet page. Use this command to add new competition classes to the Lap Timer 2000 database, or to edit existing competition class information. The Alt+L shortcut can be used for this command.


KTest I/O Ports

Open the I/O Port TestingI/O Port Testing window. Use this command to test your computers Printer and Serial I/O ports. This command will be disabled (Grayed) if the selected port is neither the Printer or Serial interface. The Alt+O shortcut can be used for this command.


KGame Pad Emulator

Open the Game Pad EmulatorGame Pad Testing window. Use this command to test your computers joystick game pad interface. This menu command will be disabled if the Joystick Game Pad interface is not the currently configured port. The Alt+G shortcut can be used for this command.
