KTool Ribbon Buttons

Most commonly used Lap Timer menu commands can also be quickly invoked by pressing a button on the toolbar ribbon displayed at the top of the main window.


These buttons work exactly the same way as the corresponding menu items that they duplicate.


       KRace – Define a new race

       KQualify – Time trials

       KPractice – Run practice


       KSettings – Lap Timer settings

       KPorts – Configure ports

       KTrack – Define track settings


       KDrivers – Define drivers

       KCars – Define slot cars

       KClasses – Define competition classes


       KReset – Rest lap times


       KLap Times – Display lap times

       KHot Laps – Open Hot Laps database


       KStart – Begin a race

       KPause – Pause a race

       KStop – Cancel a race


       KExport – Export definitions and settings


       KTopmost – Keep Lap Timer topmost

       KOptions – Open the Lap Timer property sheet


       KWeb Site – Visit Software Design


       KPurchase Cables – Buy interface cables on-line


       KHelp - Open this Help file

       KAbout - Show Lap Timer splash box


Tip If the Show ToolBar TipsConfiguring Lap Timer option is selected a small popup tip window will appear when the mouse pointer is placed over a button. A short description of what each button does can be viewed using this method.
