Set 2006

Details

Neither this set nor its contents sheet have been seen. The 1988 catalogue shows Jeeps on the box lid and contents list but shows a photograph of Mercedes as the cars contained. Furthermore, the author has (what is believed to be) an original artwork for the box lid of set 2006. Although this says 2006, the illustration of Mercedes cars is that used on set 2007. It may be that this artwork was available for collection because it was wrong so never sent to the printers for production. It most likely that the set contained Jeeps.
