I just spent 20 minutes testing on my little Scaley Sport track which takes about 3.5 seconds to go round and it's very quiet, very smooth and a much more pleasant car to drive than before.

Now to spend a few months racing and Rallying it to hammer out the problems.

I didn't like the sidewinder setup, too noisy and not particularly quick.

This runs nicely on my little track, I'll test it on Thursday proper.

We have a driver with a new set of trued and glued tires.  We will see how it goes, currently there is too much side to side body movement.

I have revised ideas on my entries, originally was looking to run a Ferrari 250GTO, but as there are already others expected I am looking to make something different and this George Turner Jaguar E Type body kit should be the a good alternative.
Similarly I am looking to build this Airfix MG1100 body into a suitable small Saloon car alternative to my Thunderbird.
And finally I recently bought this George Turner King Cobra body which I think will fit a metal chassis that I have.

Given myself alot of building work to do, but hopefully they should all be assembled by the end of the year.

I didn't like the flat alloy wheels look so made a set of Minilites as seen on many a racing Camaro and this look is much better...

First test of the 'back to sidewinder' last night, I'm happy with it and don't intend changing anything.
