I have received the results from Tyneside Slot Car Club (Round 4)

So tonight is the Round 5 on the Wearside Policar track (approx 62ft long), live streaming again perhaps around 6pm.

This is the first time of using this track for a proxy, good luck to the club members and the Gerry Fitzsimons who is on his 2nd consectutive host race director mission

Many thanks to the Wearside Slot Car Club for running Round 5, I have received the results below and hopefully there will be video's later in the week to post.
There was one mechanical failure for Batmanx Alfa 155 due to a gearing issue.

   

                 

The cars will now make the journey from the North East down to the South West Coast for Round 6 at Trelawney Slot Car Club.

Championship Review After Rounds 1-5
Smaller Saloon Cars (Event 1)
Class A Mini type cars
Fiery1 -Hillman Imp (14 pts)
Woodcote - Abarth 1000TC (10pts)
BARacing -Abarth 1000TC (9pts)

Still ahead is the Hillman Imp of Fiery1, but faltered at the last round.

Class B Small Saloons
Brumos RSR - Porsche 911 (47pts)
AdeC -Alfa GTA ( 42pts)
Roadrunners - Datsun 510 & Demon Tweeks - Porsche 911 (37pts)

Brumos Porsche 911 gained some advantage over the last 2 rounds, as AdeC Alfa GTA performance seems to have faded.
Demon Tweeks Porsche still gaining ground and now equal 3rd with Roadrunners Datsun.

Super & BTC Touring Cars (event 2)
Class C   Super Touring
Modsports - Audi A4 (53pts) 
Oxo Cube - Sierra (29pts) 
Makem - Ford Mondeo (26pts)


Steady run by Modsports Audi A4, always ahead of the field by quite a margin.

Class D   Modern BTCC
73Emgee - MG-6 (51pts)
Red Dragon - VW Passat (44pts)
Bangers Racing - Honda Civic (34pts) 

73Emgee MG-6 also seems to be running well above the others in the class.




Larger Saloons (event 3)
Class E    Muscle Cars
Roadrunners - Falcon XB (52pts)
Oxo Cube -Falcon XC (34pts)
Brumos RSR - Camaro (28pts) 

Roadrunners Falcon seems to be able to outperform the other cars in the class


Class F  DTM Type Cars
AdeC - Calibre (71pts)
Bangers Racing -Peugeot 406 (68pts)
Modsports - Peugeot 406 (65pts) 

With Red Dragon - AMG (64pts) it still appears a fairly open contest between the first 4 runners in this Class

Next Round will be at the Trelawney Slot Car Club on the 4th July.
