Not a fan of the Shark 20 as it performs well in 1 direction for me and worse in the direction my cars are usually configured for.  Yes, I will take the SRP motors please.

I will post them after the holiday.

I have updated the rules with some clarifications regarding Chassis definitions & what can be used in which Events.
Also 9mm wide rear tyres for F1/Indy Rear engine cars.

I was asked about Front engined F1 cars of the early 60's (ie Scarab etc), these are not included in this proxy, but would be in any 50's era proxy in the future.

I feel that everything is looking about right now in regard to the rules, but I am still open for "consultation" until the end of the month"

Can we add B&W for Hardtop GT class?

Entry for:-

Event 2 - Chapparal 2F (Same body as last proxy but damage was worse than I thought, rear bearing sockets had cracked, so a new chassis on the cards).
Event 4 - Lotus 33

I think I have worked out the class requirements, so for BAracing it will be two out of these three, if not all three...

Events 1, 2 & 3

I love puttering with gears

I second this request, and also would like to see it added to Small Touring Cars (Event 3) to expand what is available to build in these classes.

I have considered a couple of more requests regarding the proposal.
Short Can motors in addition to S-Can motors, and the inclusion of Slot it Flat 6 (yellow wrapper).

I have agreed to this request as basically they are of similar power/strength to the S-Bell motors.

The other request is to allow B&W chassis in Event 1 (GT Hard Tops)
I will decline this request for 2 reasons, I think or believe that with in line configuration only permitted in this event, then these chassis could have comparatively an performance advantage over the plastic chassis types. Whearas with the Event 2 (Prototypes) with free choice of motor orientation, then there is more scope for comparative performance between plastic types & B&W types.

And the 2nd reason is that there are only very few entrants (2 or 3) of likely participants who make the effort to construct these types of chassis and I think in this case it makes for a more competitive and interesting Event to have these racing each other rather than spread across all the events.

So sorry about that, I like to see them but prefer they race together. In regard to Event 4 (F1/Indy) there is a previous history of earlier proxies which allow free choice of chassis and it would be nice to hope we might encourage a few of these builders to participate in this one.

Mr Slotman cars inclusion into Event 1 is a possibility, it is a shame that we have not seen the range of promised cars expanded. But I would consider this although so far I have not made any provision for them

A couple of other adjustments made, just in case the Abarth 1000TC cars make another appearance in Event 3 (Touring Cars) I have added the Reprotec motor into the list. And I was told off for including the Maserati 151 types and Lola MK6 GT in the Hard top GT list. I have corrected that now and they are listed under prototypes.
