What about other GTO's from the period, Buick, Pontiac, group 44 Jag, Dekon Monza, Greenwood Corvette, Kemp Mustang Cobra

I always get a nervous twitch when Tony mentions TA71 kit cars, they really should be in a Proxy or a class of their own. It’s not that I don’t like them I do, but the bodies are as light as a feather, so they are really like vacuum formed based bodied slot cars when on metal chassis.

The original choices will be removed, only the latest one will count.

I have expanded the “Touring car” descriptions for the 80’s ( BTC group A), 90’s ( Super Touring cars), and Modern ( BTC’s)
I think these are good “modified standard RTR class events” which balance out the more Procar type cars in these periods. So there’s something for everyone.

I have received 7 responses so far which is about half the number we had in the earlier Questionnaire, so would like some more please be able to say that the theme chosen is the preferred choice of the majority of entrants.
Also please choose any 3 of the 8 Themes, the sheet is set up for "tick box selection" so it is not just for one choice.
I hope to announce the "chosen theme" by the end of March.

If either of these classes include he Revoslot Porsche 934, I’d run it as alternative to the TA71 Audi

Umm, me thinks this one could be as long way off at the moment

but should there be a sudden rush of votes for "Special Production cars" theme before close of play (a English term in Cricket), then possibly both could be included. Although my view on TA71 kit cars inclusion remains that they are permitted only with original chassis and possibly require a minimum body weight comparable with the other typical car bodies in the class.
