Last year I posted a Future Proxy Questionnaire, and I received some good feedback regarding preferances of  car construction etc which I will endevour to incorperate into any new proxy.

I have reflected on the replies regarding Themes/topics over the last few months on my plans for the follow up for another one, and in regard to a new format have taken a lead from the CSCRA (Classic Slot Car Racing Association).

The basic era Classification regarding the rules are laid out mostly in decade format, across the prevailling Real Race Car series of the times. So I am thinking I could adopt a similar pattern for my next proxy adventure. The 1990's & 00's are not really covered as yet by the CSCRA, so I have just copied their general principals.

Racing Decades Slot Car Proxies
1930s - Pre War  Race Cars,  GP/ Indy
1950's - Sports/GT,  Saloon/Touring,  Front Engine F1/Indy
1960’s - Sports/GT, Mini cars/ small saloons/ early prototypes
Late 60's-Mid 70's - Le Mans/ Can Am prototypes, Muscle Cars.
1970's - Special Production Cars, IMSA (GTU, GTO, Gr4/5) 
1980's - Group C/ GTP, British Touring Cars Group A
1990's - Global GT1 & GT2, Super Touring cars
Modern Endurance Cars - GT/GT3, Prototypes, British Touring Cars

Once a period/theme has been chosen from the list for the next proxy it will be removed from any future selection.

So I have attached another Questionnaire just to get your feedback on the most popular theme periods/topics
You don't have to be a current participating entrant to fill in the questionnaire, but I would prefer the opinions of those who are or who would like to enter a proxy based on this new format.

Principles of the new format
The new format will give the opportunity to look differently at the Classes within an Event and the technical rules which will apply. I will be closely following the CSCRA Technical Rules format whenever possible (for smooth running some details will be different because this is a proxy and not an open live event). With the exception of the ocassional Road Race which is outside this criteria as its based on Rally style single car running format, the above "Decade" proxies will be run  as a race of at least 2 cars against each other on each Round.
Compliance with the Technical Rules
The cars will be checked as they arrive for compliance to the rules and entrants advised immediately if there are issues to be resolved. In the event of non compliance at the beginning of the first round the cars will be allocated penalties proportional to the degree of non compliance and these will be applied at the end of the series (as deducted points from the total) unless the entrant chooses to fix the issue during the series (this may result in loosing points for a missed round).

Should be ok now, for some reason it seemed to have reverted to Multiple choice rather then tick boxes

In regards to a potential  "Mini car" defined Class of cars I have in mind to specify Certain permissible cars:
Abarth 1000TC
Mini Cooper
Mini Van
Hillman Imp
NSU 1200 TT
MG1100
Mini Broadspeed
Mini 1275 GT
MG Metro (non Turbo)

Modified Wide wheel arch versions would not be permitted, and my thought on dimensions would be to limit them to a body width Max 52mm ?

As I don't have most of the cars listed, I would greatfull for any owners of these models could measure the body widths of the cars listed and let me know if they would comply with the suggested body width rule.

Any other models which might comply with the width rule and is an Under 2.0 Litre Saloon car within the 60-70's period, could be considered ?

Most small cars raced in that era had wheelarch work but a 52mm limit would certainly keep tabs on things.

The Fiat 500 definately, and I just seen on the PSR website the Riley Elf, the Mini Pick up truck and the Mini ERA Turbo which could be permitted. 
The Austin A35 perhaps ?

I think the Morris Minor and Ford Anglia perhaps could be in a seperate class for small Under 2.0 litre Saloons ? but in the same Event with the same width restrictions.
