Wavegreen Good afternoon

Many thanks to Jason for getting the SCOREBOARD working for us once again.

Targa Florio Review R1
General
It went reasonably smoothly over the weekend, over the last year I had replaced my old Scalex & SCX track on the Hillclimb with the new SCX grey track which is soo much better. Locks together and is very reliable. The Targa Florio buildings appeared on the Magnetic Slot Racing website just a few weeks before kick off, so I had quite a time assembling the 6 buildings and painting them in time for the event. There is also a couple of very special buildings I would have liked to get but as it is they would not fit into my track at present. And also the Spen Brook (ex PSR Club track) was great to run once again. This time running much more smoothly.

Summary so far
Classic Event
So after a great start by Roadrunners, they seemed to slow down on the 2nd Stage, allowing the other Jaguar XK120 of ModSport into 2nd place.
So now hanging onto 3rd place, with Brumos Corvette close behind.
1st - ModSports - Jaguar XK120B  (24pts)
2nd - ModSports - Jaguar XK120A  (21pts)
3rd - Roadrunnerss - Mercedes 300SL (19pts)

Gran Turismo Event
Similar story, with the Roadrunners leading on the 1st stage but lost the plot on the 2nd stage. Bangers Racing was mega fast on this stage, after a difficult initial run.
And generally both the Corvettes gained ground.
1st - Bangers Racing - Cobra (21pts)
2nd - Brumos RSR - Corvette (19pts)
3rd - Roadrunners - Alfa GTA (15pts)

Prototypes & GT Event
Better news here for the Roadrunners, but the Ford GT40 of Ruscillo Racing has caught up for joint 1st position. The best run on the 2nd stage was by ALS Lola T280, who has made a great recovery from a slowish 1st Round, sharing 3rd place with Krapspeed Alfa 33/3.
Joint 1st - Roadrunners - Ferrari 412P  & Ruscillo Racing - Ford GT40 (26pts)
Joint 3rd - Krapspeed - Alfa Romeo 33/3 & ALS - Lola T280 ( 20 pts)

Next up will be the Tarmac run at the Trelawney Club.

Wavegreen Good Morning, so today I hope to get some or all of the Round 1 videos posted.
I was at a Slot Car Rally event over the weekend, so it's catch up time now before we get to the next round.

As an intro to my refurbished Hillclimb track with TF buildings I have made a little intro.

Probably because there's http:// twice.
You have to delete the one in the pop up box then paste the YT URL in.

I'm impressed how your track has evolved since the last time we saw it in action, especially the Targa Florio theme buildings

I like all the changes in elevation and the meandering curves...it looks an enjoyable track to drive on.
