Many thanks,
If everyone is on board with the change, tomorrow we will go with the 21k max rpm for event 3 as with the other 2 events. To me it makes sense to have a common motor power limit across the 3 events for this proxy. The Event 3 cars will run fast enough even with 21k motors.

Tonight I've fitted a spare Revo motor in my Event 3 car for testing on Thursday.
It's not a 'slow' motor when it's good enough to push heavy Revos around our track in the low 6 second bracket.

Hi Graham
In event 3 is the car list hard and fast or can other cars such as an XD Falcon be used? Asking as I have a 3D model I am about to resin print and thought this may be ideal for this event.
Thanks Fred

Yes, I basically listed the Ford Falcon cars which I knew Scalextric had made and seperated them into In line motor cars for Event 2 and Sidewinder models for Event 3.

Hi Graham,
Do I presume correctly that this Audi 90GTO
doesn't qualify as a Touring Car?
(SCX Audi 90GTO which is 65mm wide)

I did look at this one myself, but I don't think the car ever competed as a "Touring car " ??

Saw one of these on my shelf, been sat there for years, too narrow to be competitive in our Saloon class but perfect for this proxy... Scalextric Escort Cosworth
...then I wondered if it was ever raced as a saloon rather than a Rally car...oh yes!
