No, back then, they were competing companies. And the body is a very different shape.

I hunted for over a year to find a 250 GTO/LM and nothing was around.

Then three Ferraris showed up within a few weeks of each other.

Two were unbuilt kits like this one.

One might ask the question "Why then would I buy a third?"

I saw this body last. It was at a flea market. I asked "How much?" just for fun. When the vendor said $5. I could not stop myself. Resistance is futile!

$5 Canadian is about 3 GBP. Not even considered coffee money at Starbucks these days. Where's the coffee emoji when you need it?

Area71 makes a 250GTO but I believe only the ‘62-63 versions of the car. I know there are 2. Area71 takes pride in their cars being exactly 1/32 or 1/24 scale. This is from my conversations and helping with the design of their Porsche 904 model. If your dealer/pusher/ enabler does not have the model in stock, you can message Area71 through Facebook as they are very responsive. That said, I your order may take a little longer than the norm to receive directly from Area71.

The files are out there, and anyone with a resin printer can print a smooth body.

If you have a well set-up FDM printer you can still print a body that will be pretty flat after a couple coats of filler primer and Klear if desired.

Fortunately, vintage examples are still around. And the Fly, which is pretty if oversized. The Pink-Car is closer to the Revell/Strombecker bodies.

So plenty of options.
