R.2 with the two Ferraris with the yellow 512 on the inside was a great race.

Unfortunately we chose green and yellow lanes which aren’t the best match. Robbed us of the close races that we normally get. But yes, that was a real good one.

When I was watching the videos to me there appeared a greater difference this time around, and was wondering if it was to do with the change from the Scalex to the Policar with a greater grip surface , but I guess the lane choice this time explains that.

Good Morning
As things appear to be back to normal (after the holidays and Royal mail strikes).
I am posting back the cars today. So hopefully most of you should receive them sometime next week. Those abroad could take a lot longer.
And many thanks to our friends across the pond who have provided me with some of those much sort after Predator 22.5k rpm motors.
So I will be sending them with the cars to those entrants who contacted me, there are still a few left over if anyone else wants any, send a pm for details.
Graham

The cars have made it back, thanks. There are some bits missing off the Pantera though. I understand that damage happens during these proxy rounds, but surely the done thing is to send the bits back with the cars...
Both bits were missing prior to round 5 at Viking SCC. The bit off the front is quite large so surely wouldn't have gone unnoticed? Could the previous hosts possibly have a look? If you have it then let me know and I'll PM you my address to post them back so I can rebuild the car for the rally stages

Prompted by AdeC posting I had another look through the carrier box and sticky labels bags used in the event.
Sadly none of his components were found, so I do urge any of the hosts to check their "unidentified missing items boxes" again to see if a club member of individual host can find these parts please.
On the other hand I was able to return a couple of pieces to entrants which were identified by the hosts (well done), and now returned with the cars.
On checking the labels bag again this morning I found these two items below hidden amongst the elastic bands and labels, but there is no indication from which car they came from ?
Perhaps entrants can let me know if they recognise the components please ?

Could the first piece be a front light from a capri? I mentioned it in the race report. Not sure about the other piece, doesn't ring a bell sorry.
Harrisons Racers front light has fallen out one side, I found it and saved it away. Not worth opening up the car to stick it back on in my opinion, it's just a little piece of silver foil effectively.
