No, 3D printing doesn't 'leave' high spots, it 'leaves' low spots.

Going back to post #1: the Monogram GTO is a 1964 version with squared off lines compared with the 1962/63 versions made by Fly, Pink Kar, Scalextric, Strombecker and Revell. My personal favourite is the old Revell shell which was available more or less in period and is still fairly common today.

I do agree that the best rendition is the Revell version from the 60's as well as the Monogram 64 version , and as I have a few Ferraris - here are a few Rofl

I do have a Fly version though as I liked this version:

I think the Revell and Monogram 'versions' are from the same mold tooling.

Those are nice too - have never had one - was put off by the wheels and chassis/motor - but that is easily remedied now Cool
