I humbly apologize to everyone. I can't make this race due to health issues. I've been going through crappy chemo treatments that knocked the bazooka out of me. I have another 9-weeks to go.

I had one week break from chemo recently, and my wife dragged me to the cottage for that week to chill (two weeks ago now). She mumbled something about me being depressed. So she grabbed me by the weiner, and off we went. Nice to have a very kind wife. 

Evidence of what I did while on my spring vacation are on the "HO Stuff" thread. I was only allowed to bring bodies and paint. I gladly obeyed.

A big thanks to everyone who has sent cars - we have 43 of them in four classes, representing 18 racers. Are you ready to meet them?

First, we have Jeremy and Jane's Street Stock and Can Motor Super Stock 6.0 (both Micro Scalextric)...

   

Next, Nico has sent cars for Street Stock, Can Motor Super Stock 6.0 (Marchon MR-1), Ceramic Inline 6.0 (Tyco 440X2) and Micro Scalextric 2019...

   

Also on the Salzburg transporter was a Can Motor Super Stock 6.0 (Tomy Turbo) from debutant Markus...

   

A full set of cars from Bill in the US - his Can Motor car is a Turbo and the Ceramic Inline a Tyco 440X2...

   

Kev has sent cars for Street Stock, Micro Scalextric 2019 and his Micro Scalextric Super Stock returns for the Can Motor class...

   

I've offered up a (hopefully) marginally quicker Street Stock car, a new Micro Scalextric 2019 under the Nissan body, a Tomy SRT for the Can Motor class and a Life Like M for the Ceramic Inline...

   

Rebecca has her usual Street Stock, Micro 2019, Micro Scalextric Super Stock for the new Can Motor class, plus a Like Life M for Ceramic Inline...

   

Clive has prepared a beautiful Chevy Nomad Tomy SRT for the Can Motor Class, a little red Corvette Tyco 440X2 for the ceramic inline, plus his quick Audi R8 for Street Stock...

   

Next we have Team Ken - four cars put together by three of his fellow racers so Ken has something to root for this time. There's a Nissan in Street Stock, Corvette SRT for the can class, a glorious Aston Martin hot rod in Micro 2019 and a Chevy 440X2 in ceramic inline...

   

Delivered today are Iain's quartet of contenders - two familiar Micro Scalextric cars, plus a Tyco 440X2 Superbird and a Tomy Turbo hot rod...

   

There's a gaggle of Worthing Street Stock cars for Jerome, Pat, Mary, Anna, Pete and Sue, plus Crazy Ivan in the can class for Pete...

   

Last, but definitely not least, is Andy Phillips' sublime Micro Scalextric Mini for the new Super Stock can class...

   

That's the cars. The schedule is still being finalised, but expect qualifying for the two biggest classes (Street Stock and Can Motor Super Stock) tomorrow and possibly qualy and racing for Micro Scalextric 2019 class. Then lots of racing on Wednesday!
