The new Class A sounds like how I build most of my Proxy cars! Find crappy Scalextric body, fit 3D chassis and away we go! Probably why you find my cars near the bottom of the pile.

Good Morning,
I made a couple of further changes (in red) for the rules in the forth coming Autumn Proxy and renamed it "Enduro -Inter GT"
The classes remain as planned, but a few technical changes have been proposed.
Modern Enduro Class- Previously decided that with many of the Standard Scalex etc cars now having 3d chassis available we would allow this as an upgrade. But since fitting of many these chassis usually requires major surgery of the existing Interior, I decided that along with the other 3 classes "lightweight Interiors will be permitted"
Standard Motors- have been listed- this gives clarification as to what is allowed.I have further restricted the Ninco motors allowed to the NC-1 & NC-2 types. And allowed Pioneer Type 18k rpm motors to be used even though there are no RTR Endurance cars made by Pioneer.
Early Lemans Class- I decided to offer the Resin body modellers a concession ( as we all love to see them run). So cars with resin bodies will be allowed to run with slightly higher rated but specified motors.

If I can't think of any further improvements to be made before the end of the month the rules are likely to be written around this plan for the series

Yes I think it should remain "Modification of a standard car (Scalex, SCX, Fly or Ninco ) " class in principal, these bodies are most probably all in the same kind of weight category (22-28 grams) , where as a Slot it or Avant type LMP body (~15 grams) would be possibly give a competitive edge, even with a standard Scalex motor fitted, compared to the others standard car bodies.
The other classes are intended to be "open class" based.

Yes they would be allowed in the other 3 classes, as long as they are proper " to scale" modelled bodies and are of a reasonable quality

I would probably add the words "commercially available 3d bodies" in the rules.

Cool, just confirming
3 classes I would really like to enter there, will have a shifty through the pile of bodies (slot car, not a serial killer) in the basement and see what suits.

'Commercially available' just means anyone can buy them, I print my own to order so I guess that makes them 'commercially available'.
Life is like a box of Slot cars...

Fun fact, August 11th, 1974 at Mid Ohio one of the entries was a Porsche 906 driven by Horst Petermann of Canada. If this is considered an entry I will have a second entry in Class D……with a guide that should work on all tracks minus rally tracks
