Hello Big Bill,.......while out of the box, the TSlot cars are very good, they can be significantly improved with tuning,........a TSlot car with only a tyre swap and minor tuning would be nowhere in the CanAm proxy.
As far as the "Nylok" nuts,...they are not standard, and yes, you do need to remove the body for adjustments.
That said, for the little bit of work needed to adjust, they are absolutely worth it.......these nuts and the machine screws used, offer very small/precise levels of adjustment, and,....you never need worry that they will come loose and therefore alter your settings, nor will they ever fall out !!
For proxy race they are also very beneficial as there can be no "inadvertant"

adjustments made over the course of the proxy.
