Thank you for the supportive comments! I will be putting up some more pictures from various stages of completion.
As to which country, I am in (The Republic of) Texas. Well, former republic.
As to Jacky Ickx, I admire his well-roundedness. Wins in Endurance racing, Grand Prix, and at one time he was toying with boat racing. I have to say I admire Dan Gurney, Jimmy Clark, Phil Hill, Graham Hill, Mario Andretti and so many others for their versatility. But when I signed up Jacky was the first name that came to mind.
So I've met Le Mans winners Ickx, Bell, Hill (both!) Gurney and Foyt. I've been very lucky as an enthusiast.
PS to Leo, I do have an Ecurie Ecosse D type but I haven't weathered it yet. It runs like a dream, though!

I'm sorry these printed sideways. I'm trying to fix it but they keep showing up normal on my preview. I'm going to try to delete this post and start again. If it can't be fixed, my notes for these pictures were as follows:
A few shots showing the Dunlop bridge.
My original intention was to just have an "idea" of the bridge, but I was able to print the bridge in sections, as the actual bridge is assembled from sections of wood like our 4 by 8 plywood sections in the states. Then I decided to actually make stairs, that are just cascaded sections of foamboard, covered in cardstock printed with a concrete texture. I probably spent as much time searching the internet for textures I could use than I did actually assembling the foamboard structures.
I had thought I would add the timing led's to the bridge area, but it is at a rather odball portion of the circuit for timing and scoring.

Very nice work. It reminds me of the first track I built back at my parents place, which was more Riverside based and ten years down the line, but also had printed cloth banners. I’ve not seen that commonly utilised so I recognised it immediately!
The overall quality of your scenery looks great. Well done.
