I have just updated the Le Mans Cars Championship results to date as below
So Many thanks to the NERSC Slot club for running their Stages, certainly gave some different results one again.

Le Mans Cars Championship review Stage 3
The NERSC was reporting hold ups during the early stage s on Sunday evening due to lap timer issues ( we all been there from time to time), so it was a late start and eventually close to 10.pm before all the cars had run their daylight and dusk runs. The dusk runs everdentally turned out to be more like "pitch black out" with the marshall's struggling to take care of stranded cars which had left the track.
Note : next time must provide the hosts with pocket torches
Anyway 3 cars became detached with their rear wings ( 2 of which had already were loose) before starting. And it was reported that during the stages, my Merc lost its Chassis securing screws and the Aston Martin lost its front wheels. So many thanks to the club for getting my cars back on the road again. And in spite of the lack of light on the track, the cars without lights were still able to gain some valuable points for the teams.
Class A - The S&P Racing Porsche 911 is still well ahead of the field, IS NOBODY GOING TO KEEP UP WITH IT, perhaps Roadrunners Mercedes can make a late run. However Mountain View's Aston Martin Vantage is still maintaining their 2nd position in the class during the race.
And in the Championship Mountain View and S&P Racing are beginning to break away from the others.
Class B- Team Tatters Audi R8 still seems to have the measure of this class, although watch out for Jaguar XJ9 of Green Star Racing, I think this car is improving with every stage. Meanwhile the AM/Lola of Rokers Roar on home turf put in a spirited run to come 3rd in the race, so maybe this could also be getting on its feet.
All very tight in the Championship points, Team tatters not really being able to capitalize on their race wins due to the lights penalty.
Class C- Well another tassle for the winning positions by the 3 top cars, this time S&P Racing Porsche 550 winning out, but again with the Ferrari 250GTO of Mountain View 2nd and the Aston Martin DB1/2 (Sir Stirling Moss) 3rd in the race. So overall Mountain view teams car just ahead with 1 point in the series so far.
This class is neck and neck between Mountain View Racing and Roadrunners at the top of the Championship, S&P Racing hampered by their lights penalty.
Class D -This time it was a good stage for Mountain Views Ford GTIV, just got the edge over Team Tatters similar Ford GTIV, with MAD Racing in third place with their Ford GT MKII. Roadrunners Ferrari 412P loosing out abit on this circuit.
In the championship Mountain View Racing taking a commanding lead over Team Tatters.
Championship Team points Review
Mountain View Racing are still the team to beat with a solid lead over the field.
S&P Racing have moved up into 2nd position as a result of Team Tatters struggling to maintain momentum.
Roadrunners are close behind and could pose a threat to S&P Racing for 2nd position.
Bangers Racing are also mounting a revival after initially struggling with their Jaguar XJR9
So it's onto the Goldrock Scalextric Sport track in Burnley for the next Stage, which I am sure will turn things completely upside down again
