Race #2 will be held in Tacoma, Washington at The Professors track. As F1Fan put it...to win the World Championship Slot Car Proxy you need to perform well at Monza AND Monaco style of tracks.

There is always a certain amount of anticipation when you launch a new proxy series and new rules, not knowing exactly how things will play out and how competitive the field will be. I am delighted to see the competitiveness of the field and I am hopeful that we will see multiple different winners and a close race for the World Championship.
If anyone is thinking about joining us in 2023, then mostly likely the only significant rule change would be that the weight limited of 95g will be removed and it will become unlimited. There will also be a stipulation that all parts/models/motors being used must be released and be available on the open market a minimum of 60 days prior to the date that the cars need to be received by the race organiser.

Race #3 of the World Slot Car Championship at Dennis Samson's Pebblestone Slot Car Circuit in Irvine California is now complete. Dennis "Gascarnut" has a beautiful track on his patio in sunny California where every day is beautiful! Congratulations to the top qualifier SR Hawaii for getting the fastest time. The race was ran yesterday and recorded on Dennis's channel on Twitch
https://www.twitch.tv/samsonclassics
Congratulations to the podium:
1st Cgyracer - Canada
2nd SR Hawaii - Japan
3rd Audi1 - USA
It is really impressive for myself to to see three different countries represented on the podium here after Race #3. And when you dig a little deeper it's great to see DRW21 from New Zealand finish fourth.....four different countries in the top four! Another interesting point is the same three cars are on the podium as the previous Race #2. Results and Pictures below.
Pictures of Dennis's track.
