Wavegreen Hello, a bit late today with the update but never mind.

News Update

What a great Stage 3&4 we had last weekend, Michaels MYST raceway certainly enabled all the cars to run at their maximum speed.
The times for all the classes were very tight and we had a number tied placings as a result in Class B.

Conversely on the Rodney's Raceway, the roads were very slippery and the corresponding results were more spread out again.

In all the more "up -spec" models seemed to have a better run than the others, and Team Demon's NSR AMG Merc seems to be running away with the fastest car title for Class B at the moment. Similarly Team's Demon's Ford GT 40 MkII has just but only marginally crept ahead of the Yellow Devils Ford GT 40 in the Class C cars. But there is very little in this at the moment, so anything can happen there. And finally although the Roadrunners Mclaren MP4-12C took first place on the MYST raceway, it was Kessel  run's Lambo Aventador suddenly came into it's own on the slippery slopes of the Stage 4.

So as a result of all of that;
Class A & C look still very close to call, although there is beginning to look like a pattern emerging with the top 5 cars in both classes breaking away from the others.
Class B is looking abit more predictable as the AMG Merc seems to be putting distance and time between itself and the other runners.

So next it is my turn to test the cars on the Stages 5&6.

Tomorrow morning I will post up the circuit plans for both the stages and latter in the day some photos. They will be certainly different from what the cars have run on previously.

Wavegreen Good morning, the cars have arrived at the Harlequin Garage and the drivers are raring to go. So as the weather is going to hold up at least until Saturday, I have given the green light for the Stage 5 to begin tomorrow.

The Stages to be run are Robin Hood Way & Belvoir pass, I will start with the faster Robin Hood Way Stage

The Robin Hood Way is based on a Carrera Track and is 21 metres in lane length (both lanes are equal distance). It is essentially a horseshoe shape and although faster than the Belvoir pass, it has both fast and slow corners, some good fast straights and some changes of elevations. The track surface is smooth, more like the Scalextric Sport rather than the Ninco type of track used on Michaels Raceway.

The Stage 6 will be run over Saturday /Sunday

I will take some photos hopefully latter today of the tracks

Wavegreen Good morning,

The cars have been arriving at the Robin Hood way

It is quite difficult to get a panoramic view, so here is a few segment photos, note the Belvoir pass runs mostly around the perimeter .

OK that's all for today folks, tomorrow morning I will finish the Robin Hood Way stage with Class B cars. Then I will start the Stage 6, the notorious Belvoir pass, those hairpin bends will be a make or break for some of the cars  Rofl

A Podium for Team SSRC in the 1960'S Historic Class  Bigsmile

And not that far behind the more race bred GT40's....Two good results today,  but we race on tracks with very similar grip levels to today's layout....

Graham,  if you can get my mighty Mazda MX5 anywhere near the podium in Class B,  or infact just better than 19th, I will be well happy  Thumbup
