ANNOUNCEMENT
Now that the MR Slotcar Corvette has finally hit the shelves, I will permit the inclusion of this model in the Event 2d ProCar Class. As this is a one off proxy I believe it within the Spirit of the theme, even if not historically accurate.
So should anyone wish to change a car registration now that this model is available please let me know.

Luckily (or with hindsight) it seems you already made provisions for it in the 'Final Rules v5' albeit steel or B&W chassis. Are you going to amend that to metal chassis to simplify things?
Life is like a box of Slot cars...

Yes I have ammended the rules to include metal, B&W and Steel chassis in Event 2d class.
Revoslot chassis cars will also now be in that class and not in 2c Modified Class. But apart from myself no one else is now proposing to run a Revoslot anyway.

REMINDER
As we are a couple of months from the deadline on car arrivals.
Slot guide recommendations are:
Maximum 6mm guide deph without braids.
Maximum thickness 1.6mm
Max length 20mm
Some of the hosts Rally style tracks might have shallow guide grooves, and if the guides are outside the recommendations some cars may fail to complete all the stages of the Rounds.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The way it’s working out we have around 9 confirmed hosts, could be one or 2 more.
They will be split into those hosts who will run Rally single lane tracks and those with home based tracks ( wood or plastic).
The former will be called ( Special Stages) and the later will be (Tarmac Stages)
The hosts running Special stages can run one or two stages, and the hosts running Tarmac Stages will run just one Stage.
It will be a timed proxy for each car singularly run over a set number of laps ( Rally style).
The timed results over all the stages will be cumulative, hence the winners will be the cars in each class completing the course of Stages in the shortest time. This will not be a Round points scoring proxy.
The recommended running times for the Special stages will be around 60 secs per stage and for the Tarmac Stages 120secs (number of laps to be calculated locally depending on track length).
A couple of practise laps will be allowed for both types of stages.
