Thanks guys for sending in your cars, I’m looking very forward to seeing them!   It’s going to be a fantastic shootout!

Tires are part of it but it’s not only a tire proxy for sure……in the past I helped builders troubleshoot their cars by placing very good tires on their cars and it only marginally helped.   Sometimes the car became worse by bringing out more chatter for a small example.   So please make sure you have looked at all the little details in your car builds.  The devil is in the details is a good motto I use in our hobby…….and my work too!

I know Rob...i was over simplifying it a little!

But when you read the feedback comments from the races, it is mostly comments like 'loose' or 'chatter' that crop up the lower down the finishing positions you go. 

Maybe it's more a case of the cars needing to be set up to make best use of the tyres
