Is that the, legendary, "Blue Motor"? The holy grail 21,500rpm motor, at our club!

Basically if the motor is not on the "motor list" then it is not permissible.

As we will be running the proxy on a mixture of magnetic and non magnetic contact rail tracks, I have tested all the readily available commercial motors (up to 23k rpm) and have listed only those which are not having a significant  "Magnetic Traction" advantage.

Hi Graham

I'm hoping to run my GT1 car from the last proxy (after a few tweaks of course).

However, I see that the CLK on your list is the slightly updated version: Mercedes Benz CLK LM (1998)

I have the Mercedes Benz CLK GTR (1997) which looks almost identical.

Would you please consider accepting this car?

It is basically still a  GT1 car the same as the LM version. So it is fine by me.

They're both GT1's Ed, the best way to find out what class a car was/is in is google it and look for a Wiki listing

The category is always on the right hand side...

Wavegreen Good Afternoon,

Final Rules announcement
we appear to have enough potential entrants to be able to confirm that this proxy will go ahead, on the other hand we don't seem to have as many Revoslot proxy enthusiasts as I had hoped for, currently I am aware of 4 GT2 and a GT1 builds and one of my own entries.
So that has led me to rethink how the Car Construction Classes will be allocated to the 3 Events, otherwise we would end up with a very uneven number of running cars in each Event.
And in making the changes to the rules in this respect, it also makes it necessary to allocate "Car Construction Class awards" as the main feature rather than 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest cars regardless of Construction Class (as in previous proxies). This at the moment looks perfectly workable (based last years proxy experience).
The system for awarding and presenting the points for finishing positions will need to be made to fit this 3 Class Event format.

I have attached the Final Rules below (and on the leading page)
[attachment=37751]

There is some technical changes were also necessary to adjust to the new Event Class based structure.
1) Only Rubber tyres permitted.
2) Maximum rear tyre width is now 11.5mm across all 3 Events.
3) Event 3 Group C & LMP's will be directly competing with each other (not regarded as separate classes)

I don't feel that the changes affect any entrants build intentions which have been expressed online so far, and I am sorry if they have upset anyone otherwise. And indeed the changes might enable others to see opportunities that were not previously there. But I felt a little like I was stuck "in between a rock and a hard place" and had to adjust the proxy to reflect the reality of what the entrants preferences on entering were rather than what I initially had hoped for.

Hi Graham,

Am I now reading this correctly that I can now enter two LMP's in Event 3 as long as they are different construction, i.e. a 'Type M' car and a 'Type P' car?
