Brighton to John O'Groats Road Race -Proxy Event 2021 REPORT
#71

06:00 and the hill has survived the night... although there is a very excited cat lurking somewhere, ready for mischief.

When does the fun start?

Probably a little bit before 8am.

We have a stream. Keep your fingers crossed Race Coordinator plays ball today.

I’m going to get started with Class A - in reverse order from yesterday.

Apologies. As you can see from the stream, Race Coordinator is crashing again. That’s something I’ll need to look at another time. It was working fine last night.

I’ll set up my phone with Lap Tracker and just go with the video on the feed.

Wow - that's more than a bit unexpected! MAD Racing's Jag XKRS seems to have done rather well! Beginner's luck?

Great coverage this morning Andy, thoroughly enjoying it Wavegreen

It is much more interactive than you realise,  especially when you start timing each run, just to see if your competitive,  or not....

So, my mighty Class B Mazda MX5 has just completed the hillclimb.  Only 1 de slot, which happened just as the cat appeared into view.

It obviously got worried that it was about to be pounced upon  Rofl

The Class A Ferrari F430, known as the £5 Ferrari at our club as it cost a whole fiver at the Swindon swap meet, did our club proud with a great 4th place Thumbup  Not bad considering it is the handout spare car in our GT Cup class if anyone breaks, or forgets to bring their own car...

Just the Class C Ford GT40 to come later.  It was a pig  to set up  Banghead, so not expecting that much Checkeredflag
