Good Morning,
sorry to announce that the box of cars are still stranded at the Woodland Fort Club, DHL have not managed to make the collection although the order was placed on Monday. So their "Next day delivery" service seems to gone to pot this week
So unfortunately the Ferrari 512M of Savage GT is the only car to have arrived on time
But we can't run with only one car, so the Round will now take place early next week at the Viking Slot Club.

I know it is a chew, but that is why I go to the DHL Depot and collect the parcel, then drop it back there after the round.
Saves waiting in for vans that dont arrive.

One thing I did learn on this occasion, is that it seems once DHL have planned the collection on their system, you can phone the customer service helpline and they will give you the one "hour time slot" but they do not send you this directly (as they used to by text), and neither do they attempt to advertise this on the documents seen on the order.

The cars have landed in Kent. I'll get them out and give them a once over over the weekend. If all goes to plan, we should be running the round at Viking SCC in the early part of next week.

Just given the cars a once over and there are a few issues:
Class A:
Oxo Cube - Corvette CR6
There is something heavy banging about inside, I'm assuming some weight has come loose. Needs opening up and sorting.
Scott Sports - Jaguar XJ220
One of the motor cables is rubbing on the front wheel and needs re-directing
Savage GT - BMW LMP
Tape over the rear screws is curling and rubbing on the surface. Pretty minor, can either trim it off or replace the tape

AdeC - MGA
The Rear body post is broken and the body is all over the place
Mountain View - Ferrari GTO
Front wheels are stiff/binding. Could be as built but thought I'd check
Brumos RSR
The front screen and interior are loose and rattling around

No real issues here, only minor thing is the front splitter is missing off my Pantera and doesn't appear to be in the box. Does a previous host have this?

Yes, feel free to replace the tape, its precautionary just to stop screws working loose and falling out/keep them as set.
