So what exactly was surprising about my Bentley???!!!

It was my test bed car for the GT3 proxy, thought I would try to see how far I could take inline, but switched to AW soon after.

I heard the Cornfield Garage have got the Stig driving it this week 

Finishing 6th today in the class, and 9th in the overall table

what a mission , a good 8hrs   ( thoroughly enjoyable though )
the wife is pissed and I'm knackered   lol 

we have a tie for 1st place at Goldrock Class A 
so the podium place went to the fastest lap car ( and cos its my car hehehe )

           

two of the Class A cars ( porsche & bmw ) had such shallow guides that they didn't register on the timer 
i didn't want to give them a 'DNF' , therefore i manually triggered the timer for these cars and just counted the laps and triggered again at the end
this obviously meant there was no fastest lap time available , hope that's ok  with the organizers

just as an FYI 
controller , Parma 25 ohm
track voltage , 10v
all cars completed the set 10 laps  

I'm looking forward to seeing the difference when the cars hit Pendle Crossing tomorrow ( SCX & scally classic )

i have a digital bentley and its a complete dog on my track 

therefore both entered bentley's were a suprise to me .... compared to mine

Re the thought's on my Class A Ferrari F430......

As this is was meant to be a standard Scalextric class, I left the standard Scalextric guide in place. 
To deep on some layouts, crappy old Scalextric Classic or SCX apparently,  but now to shallow for this layout.  No wonder I race on a routed layout is it...
Still it got 4th place on the Devils Duke Hillclimb, so it obviously isn't that bad.

Thanks OXO for a full day of racing. Very pleased with the results from today. My battle scarred TR4 actually on a podium in its class C, my class A Subaru showing pace even with an off and my class B pantera getting a 2nd place! All on a day which is very significant for team Green Star Racing; so called in memory of my son who would have been 6 today

Standard guide on my Merc as well, but I changed the braids to some soft copper ones (SCD)
