Slot.it motor id's? Endbell colours
#11

The "original" white endbell  Slot-it motors, (V12-1), that came in Slot-its' first car, the Audi R8C, and early 962's,  was advertised as a 25K motor, which when checked, lived up to the claim,.........however, these motors had somewhat anemic torque figures (lower gauss reading magnets) and were soon replaced/upgraded by the "orange" endbell motors, which despite lower RPM figures, would invariably produce much better lap times due to their increased torque,.....a few more turns of wire on the arm, and slightly stronger magnets, doing the job.

Cheers
Chris Walker

PS I have several of the original "white" endbell motors, and like them a lot, but I do not use them in competition cars.

I know it’s an old thread but it’s a good place for my query if you don’t mind, I have a Racer Sideways and I asked the company for info, he said motor is an MX06, it had a brown end, I just bought the car but he said it was from the old factory, just wondering if car was old stock… doesn’t matter just curious
