Well spots visible but not as bad as I feared. Also a very satin finish overall not the gloss I was hoping for. Probably more correct for the scale, but I like gloss :P
So I flattened the spots down as much as I dared without taking off the colour, and then sprayed the cars with a known quantity, the remainder of my Halfords laquer.
Fingers crossed for a good smooth gloss finish
