SRC has released a new CHRONO version of its Peugeot T16 EVO1.
CHRONO means specially built for competition use.

This time, they've chosen for the 1986 Rallye Monte Carlo version, with Michèle Mouton behind the steering wheel and Terry Harryman as navigator.
During special stage 14, the oil pressure dropped, which meant an early end of their rally.

Instead of the earlier Blue Gauloises Test Car Peugeot version with its Chrono M3 motor of 17,000 rpm and 230 grcm, the new Mouton Peugeot has a more powerful Chrono M6 motor of 20,000 rpm and 270 grcm.
To get that power onto the track, the SRC Mouton Peugeot is equipped with an ultrasoft Group B RN106 tyre set, which is specially suited for rallies:
Max 100 Black Pat RN0115 ø17.6x10.3 rear tyres and low-profile RN0107 front tyres.
To lower the centre of gravity, metal weights have been mounted on top of the base plate.
Total weight of the car is 90 grams.
