SRC Totip Lancia Delta S4 Rallye Sanremo 1986 gravel version.
#1

More than three years ago, SRC launched the clean tarmac version of Dario Cerrato's Totip Lancia Delta S4 in which he finished second, behind Lancia works driver Markku. Alen.
Unfortunately, the results of this rally where later annulled in favour of the previously disqualified Peugeot.

Now SRC delivers the gravel version of Cerrato's Group B Lancia.

As befits SRC, this involves more than just spraying a coat of brown paint on the car.
Instead of slicks and tarmac rims with cooling fans, the gravel spec Delta S4 is on gravel rims with RN 0109 knobbly gravel tyres.
The lamp pod for the auxiliary lights from the asphalt version has also gone.
SRC has also changed the gear ratio from 27:9 for the tarmac-spec car to 24:10 for the gravel-spec Lancia.
This means a higher top speed and less nervous behaviour in slow bends.
Here are a few photos of the SRC Totip Lancia Delta S4 in gravel spec:

That's a beautiful car Hub Thumbup

Regretfully I cannot / will not pay that kind of money, not only almost 40 Euro more expensive than the Tabaton car on there website but I could also buy 2 Slot. It's for the same amount.

I know that local production in Spain is costly compared the China and I'm sure it will sell out fast but the prices of the Lancia"s have risen above my pain level.

I know that feeling.
It isn't easy to take that decision, especially when it comes to such a well detailed slot car. Thumbup
